Happy New Year!  New Year, new moves! I'm sure most of us have goals and visions we would like to accomplish for this new year. At the start of every new year, I list my goals on a paper. But this time, I'm not going to just put them on paper, but also i will also create a vision board in order to attach pictures to each and every goals that I will achieve.  What is a vision board? A vision board is a visual representation of all those things that you would like to see materialise within a specific period of time. Vision boards are very powerful. With it, you get to reflect about what exactly you want in your life. It helps to remind you and impose these thoughts constantly in your mind. Vision boards work with the law of attraction; as you attract into your life what you see, visualise, think about and speak regularly. A vision board helps you to visualise the life you really want, as you can attach visuals that are similar to what your goals are. Before starting  a vision bo

Fine Jewellery Shopping: Swarovski Edition

If you have been following my blog or social media for a while, you would notice I have a thing for Swarovski. I mean the brand is super affordable and yet luxurious. You don't have to break the bank to cop many of their pieces. And also I like the fact their diamonds are ethically sourced-lab grown. I don't have to worry about it being a conflict or blood diamond.  Last week, I went shopping at Dubai mall. I had a specific design in mind. But i ended up getting something else. I got the Attract Watch, the Angelic bracelet and Constella ring, all in silver. I only wear silver jewellery so it's just easy to go for it. I would probably get a matching necklace for the set later on. You can get the set here: Constella Ring Attract Watch Angelic Bracelet

Christmas In Dubai 2022

My favourite part of the year will always be Christmas. There is something about this season that's just so different from every other season of celebration. The feeling is different. The vibe is infectious. Of course for some people, it can be a mix of emotions. For me too it can be a mixed feeling. But the dominant feeling is happiness. 2022 has been a roller coaster of ups and downs. But in all, I feel a sense of gratitude so far. Wishing you all a merry Happy Christmas 🎄.  Silver.

Trying Out The ORDINARY Product Range

I first came across The Ordinary product 2 years ago randomly on YouTube. Recently, I had a skin consultation at Skin Laundry in Marina. The Beautician recommended some Skin Laundry products. After using the products, I noticed an instant improvement on my skin. The products were super pricey, so I went online trying to find a good brand which was cost effective. My search led me to The Ordinary. I wanted something with Hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C and Retinol, which were some of the ingredients in the Skin Laundry products. I started with The Ordinary toner, Hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C, Retinol, Lactic acid. So far, the products have been working well except the Lactic acid i had to discontinue because the top of my nose itches me whenever I use it. Overall, I would recommend the brand. Their products are effective and super affordable.

The pandemic, coupled with the lockdown was very devastating, as lots of people were  out of job. There is currently a rebound and many businesses are looking to employ workers in various sectors in Dubai. The most vacancies are in F&B, Tourism and Hospitality.  Are you looking to find a job in Dubai or the rest of the Emirates in UAE? Here are my top three websites to find jobs.  DUBIZZLE.COM-   This is the most popular job site in UAE. Everyday, there are hundreds of listings for vacant positions. The website is easy to navigate and it is very interactive. It takes only a minute or two to register using an email or Facebook ID. The websites also has listings for purchasing and sales of various products, etc. You do not need to have an account before viewing the listings, but in order to access more features, you have to register. INDEED.COM-  This website exclusively cater to employers and jobseekers. It has a formal interface. Registration and uploading your cv or resume is ver

This is one topic I like to talk about. Personal hygiene is a big deal for me. Body odour is like a stigma. When you smell so bad, people would not want to be around you. It can be so embarrassing that your close friends are just not bold enough to tell you how bad you smell.  There are several reasons why people smell bad. It could be excessive sweating, diet, lack of proper personal hygiene or genetics. If you fall in the last category and still have bad odour, then it's time to see a doctor. Most people may have no idea that their personal scent doesn't smell good. HOW TO ELIMINATE ODOUR NATURALLY Baking powder is one of the most useful kitchen items you may not know about in health, hair and skincare. This cheap item has 100s of uses that can be used for your skin.    Apart from its various health uses, it can also be used topically for the body. All you need to do to kill the bad odour, is scrub your skin daily with baking soda. Concentrate on your underarms and those

Good old beer! Surprised? I know it may seem like a very odd ingredient to add into your beauty routine, but it has amazing properties. With it's low pH value, beer helps to tighten hair follicles as well as remove dirt and grease and product build up from hair. The yeast in beer is also a good source of B vitamins, protein, selenium, potassium, iron, zinc, and magnesium. That thick white froth in beer also helps in curbing acne due the yeast in beer and slow down the production of sebum, to reduce emergence of pimples.  Below are a few ways to use beer in your skin and hair routine:  Beer Bubble Bath: Try a bath soak using a mixture of olive oil based soap and some cups of beer.
